With over 1.5 million attendees every year, the Minnesota State Fair is the largest 12-day fair in North America. This annual celebration features delicious food fair "on a stick", lots of games and rides, daily parades and over 400 free concerts. Be sure to plan ahead and purchase Grandstand tickets to one of the great concert events before they are sold out.

By the early 1900's people worldwide were transforming their habits, identities, and landscapes more dramatically than ever. Artists and designers inspired by innovations such as radios. skyscrapers and even the development of modern psychology, responded with cutting-edge representations of new and familiar subjects. "International Modernism" explores how this response to modern life evolved through much of the 20th century, from the 1910's through the early 1960s.

The Basilica Block Party began in 1995 as a fundraiser to help pay for the structural restoration of The Basilica of Saint Mary. Today, proceeds from the rockin’ and rollin’ fund the continued renovation of The Basilica and its campus and to St. Vincent de Paul outreach program.
